Bloodsuckerrrrrrrr

Not only humans but also small animals might concern about death. Consciously, unconsciously, or instinctively every creature tries to leave something, which seems the basic principle of conservation of species and ecosystem.

This creature is same. They hatch from the fruits of mysterious tree, and they suck blood in order to be crystal. The blood crystals build up on the surface of the creatures. When the creatures die with their body fully crystallized, they go back to the tree where they were born to be a part of the tree. And the tree bears fruits again.
